The buyer can have their VAT refunded in two ways:
On the checkout: If the buyer selects a country where we charge VAT/GST, there will be an option to add their tax ID and company details (with the exception of the US). The buyer can then proceed with a tax-free purchase once the system validates that their VAT number is valid.
On the receipt: If the buyer adds the ID and company details to the receipt they receive within 60 days of purchasing, they may be eligible for a tax refund. These tax refunds are actioned in bulk every few days by our buyer support team. Once the tax has been refunded, the buyer will receive an email confirmation and a tax-refunded invoice.
